So, I got to thinking about the ways that I try to reverence Inari, and wondered if I could summarize them in a few lines the way they do D&D deities' teachings in the rulebooks.

Here's what I have so far:

  • Never turn away someone who asks you for food.

  • Honour those who bring you your meals. Pray for Inari's blessings on them.

  • Never waste food if you can help it.

Because of this I was inspired to avoid wasting food twice today.

Then I dropped a tortilla on the embarrassingly dirty kitchen floor...

D: I'm sorry! Yeah I take for granted the fact that doing something like dropping food isn't an issue for me, but I know that for various reasons it's a much bigger issue for many people... :\ Mrp
