The Lightning Returns crossover event is currently going on in Final Fantasy XIV Online. So far it has involved Claire and Claire shouting at each other while Taryn and Rei eat popcorn.

I can safely say that most of us are looking forward to the next chapter! We're also wondering when the two of them are going to make out, and if there's any non-creepy way to interpret the fact that female characters get Lightning's shorts as a quest reward for the second chapter.

Besides that, we spent awhile playing Analogue and taking a lot of notes last night, which we had to do for the next chapter of the fanfic adapt and which putting this off is the biggest reason it hasn't been written yet. We can't just go by our memory for this next part, because it involves a lot of the details of what happened on the ship, many of which sort of flew over our head earlier.

It was ... nice, to reconnect with *Mute, and interesting to pay attention to the names and stuff this time. The story's much deeper than I gave it credit for. At the same time, though, it's not very tightly focused, and is inconsistent. I'm going to need to change some things for the adapt.

We're trying to get a WordPress site set up, which will automatically cross-post here in some fashion or another. We're not very confident about it, because we feel like we are not allowed to write or exist, on the Internet or in general. Somehow we've found a relatively safe hiding place here. Maybe we should just stay.

How many people are immediately put off by first-person plural pronouns? Or furry avatar icons? What's the point of writing anything anymore?

We're deeply not okay, and we aren't sure when that will change.

Hi,
I understand having few places to write because people are too close minded and quick to judge. I'm not sure if my poor memory is correct but was it you who tried a tumblr site? Hope it's okay to ask, if not I apologize, please ignore.

Sorry that you are not okay. I hope for the best for you.
I'm new here but I really enjoy your writing.

Yeah I think DW sometimes lacks more people, it's a very private site and that's good but it's disappointing when expecting to see new people or having people to read you, I spent some time with my journal inactive and when got back didn't manage to add anyone, it's hard to meet people here and few are going to read DW journals without an account here, unlike what happens on Wordpress or Blogger, limited options, I understand why you are looking at new possibilities.
I think DW it's also one of the safer sites.

I'm so sorry about what happened to you on Tumblr, such disgusting trolling can be so painful, no deserves that, there is no excuse for online bullying, it's amazing how some people just want to attack others. I hope you can find whatever you need to help you to deal with this.

I saw you on Tumblr for a short time, I think I followed you since it was the same url, sadly that site is very unsafe and many people full of hatred go there looking for targets.

I have used Tumblr three different times and two times I gave up over trolling and seeing nothing but hatred on my dash, today I'm there mostly because of the autistic community and because on DW the few people I barely knew have a closed journal, that's common here and I'm having problems talking to anyone. Groups here hardly have any conversation too.

I can only use that site by not going into any tag and blocking a lot of people, I also rarely talk about anything spiritual or otherkin related, only know I started to talk about it a little, that's why I have DW except not excited to write here anymore. The internet is already not safe but for some subjects it's a risk to talk about, which is problem since we also need resources and people to talk to and share.
Some identities are more targeted because closed minded people don't want to understand.

If you do decide to write anywhere I will be glad to know about, I'm enjoying to read your old essays on this site.

I'm not bothered at all by first-person plural pronouns, or furry avatar icons.

I'm sorry that you feel that you're not allowed to exist on the Internet. :/ Is there anything any of us can do to help you feel more welcome?

*offers hugs*

We're a friendly foxgryphon plural system. Our pronouns are "she" and "her" or "they" and "their."

We wrote Jewelfox's Otherkin FAQ, and a bunch of other identity-related ramblings.
