Things. How does one do them?

I think it was [personal profile] siderea who recently posted a thing about all the stuff you're supposed to be able to do, to live a fulfilling life, and how most people only do a few of those. Especially if they're disabled.

I'm trying to take in all this stuff I need to learn about a completely new country, and everything else is falling behind. We still don't have internets to stream with, and writing fanfics and replies? Painting miniatures? Keeping up with my reading page and RSS? Even playing tabletop / video games? When am I supposed to do those things? To say nothing of trying to write for the moneys, whether from Patreon or corporate overlords.

How do I thing, everyone?

<3 I don't know. So please know that it is OKAY to be overwhelmed for a bit and focus on acclimating. Maybe pick one hobby you like, and schedule an hour JUST for that sometime soon. And I will NOT be offended if you next talk to me, like, in several months or a year or several.

<3 <3 <3 Of course, this is when I mention I found six unpainted used miniatures (5 assorted pretty humanoids that aren't default-male-coded in features and attire, and one pretty horse) for a dollar each and got them on the off chance you'd want me to mail them. In which case they would probably also come with a small plaid stuffed fox rescued from the give pile and a shiny ocean-y homemade beaded necklace. Should I send any of these things? They make me think of you. So. Just in case you needed more struggle over but HOBBIES and INTERESTS and WORK and FRIENDS. Sorry. Love you, shining foxgemperson(s).
